Create Your Kid's CV — a Now Guide
Not a job application. A living page that captures what your child is learning, building and
getting better at right now — written together, in one sitting, with Claude or the AI model you prefer.
- Sit down together at one screen — you and your kid, side by side. Open Claude (or your preferred model) and tell it you're building a "Kid CV," not a resume for adults.
- Ask your kid what they're proud of this year: school subjects, a project, a sport, a craft, an act of kindness, a skill they picked up on their own. Let them talk — you just listen and jot the highlights.
- Give those highlights to the model and ask it to shape a short, honest first draft: favorite subjects, skills, activities, and one thing they made or did, in a couple of sentences each.
- Look for the gaps together. Ask the model to add a "Still Growing" section for the things your kid wants to learn or try next — this is where real goals live.
- Read the draft out loud. Let your kid keep the lines that sound like them and change the ones that don't. Their voice, your guidance.
- Save it, and treat it as a living document — open it again next term or next year and update it together, so it grows alongside your child.
